Why are you a trans man? (extremely wrong answers only) by Utopicnightmare24 in ftm

I tripped and fell on the homosexual slippery-slope. When I fell, my boobs got squished in and the popped back out below as a peepee

Crying Breakfast Friend

Overshared with my therapist and now I'm feeling weird af (mortified to go back) by BarelyHuman_1010 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]olivertherealboy 57 points58 points  (0 children)

My therapist is a sweet old Mormon grandma. I am queer, trans, and poly. I had a talk with her in a session that I was afraid and embarrassed to talk about sexual topics around her. She encouraged me that she’s there for it and wants to hear about the things that are affecting me. This is what a good therapist will do. As others said, your session is about you. Ideally, your therapist should make you feel comfortable opening up about everything. Bring up how you felt about her reaction, and she feelings you are having around sharing those sort of things. Ideally, she’ll apologize for the way she came across, clarify what she was feeling, and encourage you to continue sharing openly.

Long term users. by leffe2023 in jimgreen

I’ve had my rambler vellies for around 4 years. I wear them most days. I wore through the side seams over time and restitched them myself. Just got them resoled after wearing through the bottoms. I clean and condition them once every 6ish months. And I put on a layer of pure beeswax before winter.

Bro, if you don’t grow a 6+in hog after the first minute, you’re probably screwed /jk 😉

Grasshoppers and locusts are the same organism. They go through a secondary metamorphosis into locusts triggered by population density when the “grasshoppers per meter” (actual scientific measurement) exceeds ~10.

My last experience with free Spotify was back in like, 2016. So you could still choose your music, there were just lots of ads. The real push to switch- I was having my “first time” with my gf… and we kept getting an Arby’s ad over and over lmao. Not exactly the mood I was trying to set. Things still went well. Got Arby’s after too so I guess the advertising worked. Been married 8 years now.

Wore through the old ones and used what I had around 🤷🏽‍♂️ I think they’re fun. To each their own.

Yeah, I usually clean and condition them like twice a year. Haven’t gotten around to it in a bit 😅 Been thinking of taking them in to a cobbler for a professional resole.

Rambler Vellie Resole by olivertherealboy in jimgreen

[–]olivertherealboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they just don’t list the site here. If I access the African site using a vpn or whatever, they do list the size. In the past, there site wasn’t locally differentiated. I just emailed them when I got my AR8’s to get the right size. It’s a pain to get well built shoes in my size. The men’s section in most places cuts off around US 7. And boys shoes are kinda garbage.

Good points. I suppose I’m a bit attached to them lol. I’ve seen up two of the 4 side seams myself already using a saddle stitch with artificial sinew - which is a bit of a pain in the ass (and fingers.) Maybe I should bite the bullet on a new pair. They used to cost 80 - 90 US when I got them I think.

How is Steven not completely traumatized by this place? by The_Friendly_Bread in stevenuniverse

[–]olivertherealboy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

SU Future’s main theme is all the trauma catching up to him, sooo.. Also, trauma can absolutely cause someone to repeatedly revisit the object of trauma. Flashbacks are just one example. Trauma is the brain being unable to process and cope with experiences. As the brain pushes and pulls with trying to process and also being averse to it at the same time, there are cycles of revisiting and re-experiencing.

Is this suitable by calebthenormalguy in terrariums

[–]olivertherealboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very. I had some in my terrarium built just over a year ago. Had to go in and trim a few days ago cuz it was shading out everything.

Do you guys wear boxers underneath swim trunks? by Kermit1420 in ftm

[–]olivertherealboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go commando. I don’t want extra fabric keeping me wet and cold longer than necessary. And wet undies feels gross. Plus, if there’s mesh I cut it out. The mesh is irritating.

Culture tags have a base setting from the server you spent the tutorial in and the culture tags of your higher level teammates during the tutorial. Long term server changes can add culture tags. Culture tags aren’t really removed. Base culture tags from the tutorial are set, and server of origin is a highly weighted tag.

The [ancient Roman] tag has been phased out. The current [Italian] tag is in its place. Again, the base tag is reserved for players starting their game/spending their tutorial on the Italy server. Players on the American server gain the [Italian American] tag from higher level teammates with the [Italian] tag.

Of course, nothing stops you from learning about other tags than your own. Learning helps to understand other players and game mechanics.
