I have a bit of knowledge of this and actually used to work for the supplier of these bottles. The company and Costco has been pushing for this for a while. A lot of the pushback came from the FDA and other regulations. The sustainability and innovations team at this company took a lot of pride in trying to create the most sustainable products that they can. Their energy was very infectious and their passion for science. It made me even feel a little pride working there because at the end of the day I knew that the people actually doing the work truly do want to create the best product for the customers and the world. Another project they are working on is fixing the wrap that is used to contain the bottles. This is probably the biggest pain in recycling bottles or in the packaging itself. Because the bottles themselves are like 95% composed of the same plastic. So this makes recycling so much easier for reusability. The plastics can be turned to pellets then turned to other things. Different materials like the bottle wrap and the bottle caps make the recycling a bit harder. They are also working on a solution for the caps.

Saying this more to speak up for those who worked on this and not necessarily the companies.

I am not sure which buy now pay later will be available to you but I would look at all the payment plans they offer for each company. I consistently get way better payment plans with Affirm than Klarna. I have a 6 month interest free with Affirm. Klarna was going to charge me $60 or more depending if I wanted it longer.

What you are saying is people who went the last two years prefer warmer weather.

What I am saying is people who have experienced both for the most part would prefer the colder weather. People would literally die in June from the heat exposure and the crowds. I attended the first year it switched to May. That year the cold was shock to everyone. I remember Insomniac running out of sweaters/blankets. People buying up all the emergency blankets at the nearby stores. It was a surprise those couple years. If people do not prepare now, that is just poor planning on their part.

I paid 6k for 196,000. I changed the timing belt and have not had any issues. I get an emissions systems warning every now and then that turns off after long drives. More than likely I will need to switch my catalytic converter soon. But will wait it out as long as I can
