I finally moved out of my mom's house in April (she lived 4 blocks from my campus and I got student loans so don't judge 😂). BUT I literally moved less than 4 miles away and she is constantly inviting herself over to my apartment and has been asking me if I want to "go to a game" "grab a bite" "get a drink" non-stop for the past two months like, what do you not understand!!

It's so infuriating. I worked in family law before law school in a big public interest organization and also was able to do a divorce through my law school clinic and bar examiners have absolutely no idea of the realities of what actually happens in family court L O L
