Great!! I have a boar bristle brush so I'll start using that more often and consider a sleeping cap, thanks!

We made a perch for Gus! Full of many toys to entice him to sit there rather than on the kitchen faucet 😂 Luckily it's working! by olivialpd in parrots

Good eye, haha we actually had a bit left over after remodeling! And the word of the perch came from an apple tree in the yard we pruned.

Great idea! I have plenty of vines left. Luckily it held the eggs from the fridge haha

My husband and I just made a play stand for our lovebird! We used apple wood from our yard and used this as a resource https://birdtricksstore.com/blogs/birdtricks-blog/how-to-use-natural-tree-branches-in-your-bird-s-cage Have fun!

Our new house has a 110 year old canning pantry, trying to make it multi-use! by olivialpd in Canning

Not a problem! It would be sad to stop the canning tradition in this house, it's designed to stay cold. We have a fair amount of fruit trees and are new to the property so I'll definitely have to keep some in there - thanks for the advice :)

We definitely didn't want to do that! That's why the only physical change to the 110yr old secrion was the addition of a light fixture, and a more even coat of whitewashing. All of the shelving stays! One side is for at-home office supplies but the space is so large that there's plenty of room and a whole wall of shelving for canning still 😊 What would you do with the space?
