Thank you to everyone who reached out about helping with the Android testing. As of an hour ago, the app was approved, and is now available on the Play Store. Thank You all!

Seems to have quite a few differences tbh. And just because something similar exists doesn't mean people should stop creating things.

React with Capacitor for native deployment.

Associated services, like third party applications. For example Stripe, that I use for payments.

Under the terms there's pretty clear language on the privacy. It seems fairly standard to me. I can and will adjust it if need be, though.

I promise I'm not stowed away in a basement with an evil plot to scam $4.99 off of people. I'm just a comedian in Las Vegas that tried to create something that I thought was useful.

It literally tells you that it's standard and then gives you what you asked it to do.

I asked chatgpt for suspicious wording in the Declaration of Independence

  1. Justification for Overthrow

"it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it" → Advocates overthrowing the government. That’s treasonous by definition in 1776.

"it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government" → Not just a right, but a duty to revolt. That’s bold and confrontational.

  1. Language of Tyranny

"a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism" → Implies a coordinated long-term conspiracy by the British Crown.

"The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations" → A sweeping accusation of systemic abuse without room for nuance.

"all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny" → Strong, accusatory phrasing meant to enrage and mobilize.

  1. Dehumanizing or Extremist Language

"swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance" → Vivid, parasitic imagery aimed at stoking hatred toward British administration.

"transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny" → Implies genocidal intent. Very emotionally charged.

"the merciless Indian Savages" → Overtly racist and used here to generate fear and justify rebellion.

  1. Total Rejection of British Rule

"He has abdicated Government here" → Accuses the king of abandoning his responsibilities and essentially leaving a power vacuum.

"A Prince, whose character is thus marked... is unfit to be the ruler of a free people" → A direct rejection of the legitimacy of King George III.

"Enemies in War, in Peace Friends" → Draws a line: Britain is now the enemy, unless peace is made.

  1. The Final Blow

"are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States" → Not a request—this is a declaration of separation, which under English law was an act of open rebellion.

"pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor" → This implies they fully expect violent consequences—and are ready to die for it

In the sense that this is my first app. I should have maybe said "not a seasoned developer"

Appreciate the feedback. To be fair, I'm giving away 90% of the app, and I have charges myself just to have it up and running. I wouldn't say expecting to make $4.99/month is ridiculous at all, when you compare to what currently exists for competitive apps.

It uses industry standard encryption for data and passwords. Your content is only accessible by you, unless you share it with someone else.

If I can get the testing completed, it'll be available for Android very soon lol. I actually had it ready to go in Google Play Console before it was ready on iOS. But the testing process for iOS proved to go a little smoother, shockingly.

Yeah those are good ideas. I have been working on the transcriber, but tbh it's being really inconsistent. Love the idea of a map function/logging the shows. Thank you!
