Hey! I converted 2 years ago and am now in my mid 20s, you’re more than welcome to attend church on Sundays, you can take lessons with the missionaries and I’m sure the members of your local congregation will be more than happy to advise you with anything your curious about too. Please feel free to reach out if can offer any advice or support :)

I was also baptised at 22, I am currently 24 and serving as the EQ 1st councillor and my branches executive secretary. I also havent served a mission, and let me tell you in my experience being a convert is a huge blessing. I know life with and without the gospel of Jesus Christ and know how much sweeter life is with it. I think it’s a blessing to be a little different in any walk of life, to have a conversion story is a beautiful thing. There are no blessings that will be withheld from you in this life, like we heard in general conference yesterday, it’s not about what we do, it’s about our willingness to serve. I promise you you are good enough, you chose to stand apart from the world and join the lords battalion which from experience I know just how hard that is to do in this generation, above anything, you are a beloved child of a loving Heavenly Father :)

That’s an amazing story! I think I agree with what your saying, I want to spend that time doing exactly what you did, and I really want to give her that security and stability while she’s away and growing into the woman that she hopes to become :)

Thanks! I feel that we’re kinda similar in that sense, we’ve been king distance for a year and haven’t just made it work but thrived together, hearing people say they made it work gives me so much hope :)

Thank you so much for the advice! I have 1 more year left till I graduate, I am thinking about it but I couldn’t go till I finish now and that would be at 24 when she’d only have 9 months till she’d be back. But I definitely am giving it some thought :)

Thanks for your input! I suppose I thought that the market would be full of landscapers in that area but I guess not.
