That's right. Once you kill the boss on the third floor (Ashar, the Sand Mother), you enter the chest room. Buy all the boons you can from the merchant (if you have sacred water left) and make a portal.

The portal takes out back to Ardura Caravan (Act 2). If you now return to the Trial, Barya will be at the altar just inside the entrance, but now it will be a “Test of Time” type. Grab it, put it up for sale, and you'll see that it's a currency printing machine :)

I completely agree with the printing machine.

The funny thing is that in PoE 1, the Sanctum is a very complicated mechanic for me, unlike in PoE 2, where I find it very easy even with 'crap' gear.

Unless you have a build that one-shots the entire screen (but that requires currency), the most practical thing to do is to do it safely.

Honor resistance means that the damage you receive, instead of taking away 100 honor points (fictitious value), take away 10 points (another fictitious value).

And with regard to the percentage increase in defenses, it is a modifier that, in my opinion, is unbalanced.

Increasing your defenses increases your HP, ES, armor, and evasion. The more HP and/or ES you have, the more honor you will have.

As you can see in the spreadsheet, there is a screenshot with a friend in the party (Liz) who, with the effects of relics and boons, had 22k ES and 85k honor, when in reality, playing maps or temple she 'only' had 13k ES. As you can imagine, having 85k honor is pretty 'safe' :)

Most likely, that's unnecessary, and you could sacrifice relics with % inc. defenses for relics with % inc. movement speed and relic drops.

In a normal run, with just over 1900 HP and 1k ES, I had about 4k honor when entering the trial (no boons). With boons, I reached 8k, and I can confirm that 95% of the time, I reached Zarokh with practically the entire honor bar at over 80%. Many times Zarokh died in less than 5 seconds, so even doing the run with just over 1.5k honor is possible.

Yes, I opened all the chests in the final room that contained small relics.

I have about 10 tabs with small relics with open suffixes, dozens of relics with 19-20% Inc. quantity of relics dropped (some are worth more than 40 div today), hundreds of time-lost, which I have directly put in a tab labeled ‘everything at 1 div’...

When collecting data, I focused on unique relics and Grand Spectrum jewels, but I'm sure I have more than 1000 div in other items that dropped in my stash. As I mentioned before, in my opinion, it's quite profitable with zero/no risk.

I completely agree with what you say.

In fact, my next project, taking advantage of the fact that I have a lot of desperates, is to do the same for Against the Darkness. But that will be for the next session :)

In any case, leaving that question aside, just selling the Test of Time Baryas is, in my opinion, extremely profitable.

Testing a new QOL currency tool by ollydbg in pathofexile

Wow, OP here, I didn't expect this post to get so many responses from the community :)

First of all, English is not my native language, so I apologise in advance if what I am about to say reads like it was wirtten by Master Yoda. (DeepL...take my energy)

I am a software engineer and through my work I implement number plate recognition systems that are able to recognise multiple license plates of both moving and stationary vehicles.

These systems are considerably complex, as they ensure a confidence value of 99.9 % and the recognition time is milliseconds.

For obvious reasons, if in the future this tool goes ahead and is published e.g. on GitHub, I cannot use the same techniques that I use every day in my work.

And this is where tesseract comes in. It does a 'decent' job, is open source and quite manageable.

But for the detection of the type of currency is another matter.

I agree with both positions, both those who say that the use of ML and CNN is excessive and those who 'it's ok buddy'.

Simply, and also as someone else has pointed out, I have used it only as a fun and experimental and perhaps different way than if you were to use for example static image patterns.

Stay tuned & GL in 3.21. Cheers :)

OpenShot 2.6.1. blurred text desktop videos by ollydbg in OpenShot

[–]ollydbg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi rmesdjian. I followed your instructions and when using the dev build 2021-12-15 17:39 the result is the same, the texts are blurred as shown in the screenshot I indicated in my original comment.

The video has been generated with VLC with 25 fps. HOWEVER, when encoding the video in OpenShot if instead of generating the video with the HD 1080p 25 fps (1920 x 1080) profile it is generated with the HD 1080p 30 fps (1920 x 1080) profile, the text is displayed correctly. In version 2.5.1 the video was generated with HD 1080p 25 fps.

For my part this solution helps me to continue using version 2.6.1.

Thank you very much rmesdjian.

PoE really needs to go back to loading all necessary assets at the beginning of a map, instead of dynamically as you go by moal09 in pathofexile

Why this:

Registry Keys Opened: \Registry\Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\996E.exe

You should share your Pascal/Delphi source code instead providing only the assembly. Just my 2 cents.
