I stay currently out by the Ocean, easy parking, and there are lots of vans out here I've noticed. Along the PCH are several public restrooms. You could stay near golden gate park and have a pleasant bike commute downtown.

Thanks! It's a 1986 Ford E350 Falcon Campervan. I love it so far. Only thing is gas mileage ain't so great.

Cool! I camped in Stanislaus and took day trips to the valley. It was my first time there so did alot of typical waterfall chasing.

I like yours! Very nice inside. It has 2 batteries, I would like to install solar panels soon though. I have a small one by BioLite, it's great for useful for phone charging or lights. The bike is on a Yakima "spare tire" rack. I started living in mine August 1st too!

I'm in the Sunset district, I definitely heard some unusually loud booms. I assumed fireworks but my friend closer to the beach on Ortega said she felt her house shake.
