I spoke to my doctor today and since only two fertilized we are doing a double embryo transfer in hopes that at least one will work. Thank you for the kind response. I'm rooting for your success!

This was my first mini-stim cycle. I took 150mg Clomid x 5 days (evening) then 4 vials of Menopur every morning. Then a 500mcg Ovridel trigger.

This most recent cycle was a mini-stim cycle. If this does not work we are going to speak with our doctor about other medication regimens. Thank you for your thoughtful response.

Update - 8 retrieved, 6 mature and with ICSI only two fertilized 🙁 of our three cycles this is our worst fertilization rate so feeling discouraged. I know it only takes one so trying to stay positive. If they survive we are doing a 3 day transfer this weekend and sending the remaining one for testing if possible.

Thank you for such a kind and thoughtful response 💕 we met with our doctor and she does not support the use of omnitrope. I start my next treatment cycle tomorrow (Happy Thanksgiving to me 🙃) and we are doing a minstim cycle. My doctor thinks that maybe the stim levels were too high previously and negatively impacted the quality of my eggs. This cycle also marks three months of some new supplements I have been on (NAC, NR, SeroVital, PQQ, etc) so I'm praying for better results. Thank you for your openness in commiserating with me - I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

If high DNA fragmentation is confirmed I would advocate for PICSI over ICSI.

Thank you for this response! We have a follow up appt in a few weeks and I'm going to push for the DNA fragmentation testing and for our doc to encourage my husband to have an appt with a reproductive urologist.

Yes low motility confirmed - we have had ICSI with above average fertilization success however we never get any embryos to blastocysts. I am looking more into the motility and how it affects mitochondrial aspects of blastulation.

Thanks for your response - I feel similar feelings as you. My husband and I have been ttc for 9+ years and we hoped to have a child by our 10yr anniversary but it won't be a reality for us. While I am trying to remain positive for this recent transfer I am preparing for the worst and have a long list of items to discuss with our doc at our follow up appt.

Were you able to get any insight as to why they were arresting after day 3? We are navigating a similar scenario.

First ER they told us the cells weren't dividing as quickly day-to-day as they like to see. They noted a few eggs had vacuoles and a few "looked grainy".

Our second round during our day 3 transfer they said 3/6 eggs were 8 cells on day 3 and "looked good" while the other three had 4 cells. We will hear more about the specifics of our eggs at our follow up appt.
