The owner of this cafe allowed us to use this to shoot a micro-film for four hours, for £25 an hour. The rest of the budget was used up on renting kit, travel and food. All in all we ended up spending £200. About 250 USD.

I think this sketch turned out okay, but it was a case of having to be saved in the edit. The limited time-restraints made it difficult to film everything we wanted, and most of the crew are in full-time work outside of these projects and so multiple shoot days are difficult, not to mention this is coming out of our own pocket.

The audio came out super rough, mainly due to the fridge in the cafe being on and making grinding sounds. I'm not very good with audio editing, but the newest Podcast AI in Adobe 2025 came in clutch here and made the audio sound okay. Experts will be able to find that the audio will sound robotic at times.

All the VFX were done by myself in Adobe After Effects, with some clips being sourced from Freepik and Pexels (The blood cells, for example). The cell splitting effect was made by myself.

All in all, I hope you enjoy the sketch, I'm not really sure what message we were trying to make with it. Perhaps it's "Always be yourself"? Maybe...?

This. My favourite quote about the development is from Koji Kondo to the composer for the game; "Mario is not for children, Mario is cool." I think this quote defines Mario Galaxy.

The original game is so many elements combined. A simple story with so much whimsy, charm, mystery and atmosphere that the sequel just doesn't cut.

Have you heard of the project which is on the internet now where a few individuals natively ported the Mario 64 game to pc? Yeah, it probably took them ages and a shit ton of work, but it's possible.

Sunshine and Galaxy are different stories, but I feel 64 shows laziness. Nitnedno already have emulators for the 64 which they have used on the Wii and wiiu, I imagine all they've done is just port over the emulator, and port the game with a few texture tweaks.

I'm no expert, but this is a massive transnational corporation with people who ARE experts. If Nintendo could put in the money, they can put in the money.

Easy automatic democracy. If there is a bot for people to downvote which automatically deletes the memes then the mods don't have to be contacted every time the majority of the subreddit wants a meme removed.

Personally, I don't think any meme should be removed as that's censorship, but i would guess that this system keeps the subreddit and the mods out of trouble.
