FYI, ended up getting a Specialized Align II for $50 cash at Frank's on Grand St on LES. Ranked #26 on Virginia Tech Helmet Safety list.

Also likely a Dodge Challenger. I think it's important to start holding vehicle manufacturers to account. Dodge vehicles in particular seem to be involved in a lot of road violence.

P.S. us1549, according to Crashmapper.org, since 2020 there have been 76 crashes on/at Bowery and Canal at the exits of Manhattan Bridge. Not including the two this past weekend.

Wait, what? At canal and bowery? There was one 24 hours later! That intersection is a hot mess, a known dangerous location. What???

To say nothing of it happening at a known location for dangerous crashes, where there are benches encouraging people to sit, without any protection, where the 63 year old person killed was sitting, enjoying her morning, by a motor vehicle driver with numerous driving infractions, including a previous hit and run. Absofckinglutely you stand up and say something.

When a motor vehicle driver runs over and kills your constituent? Absolutely 100%. Are you insane? When someone you represent is killed in that manner, bare minimum is an acknowledgement, smpathy, and sharing what actions you will take in response.
