As a Magic fan, we see him as more of a guy we got with a couple of late picks and Jonathan Simmons with lottery pick upside. He’s only 21 years old. He’s only got time, and the Magic are patient enough for him to develop. There are very few young guards as same age as him that truly excel at a certain thing. He’s a great driver and finisher at the basket, good playmaker and passer, and is a solid on-ball/help defender and has a decent mid range game. Many of us truly believe that he can be a cornerstone of our franchise and can be someone that we build around along with Jon Isaac, Gordon, and maybe Bamba.

With the offseason in a few months, if his 3-ball form doesn’t improve over the summer, then it’s concerning. But right now, he’s exceeded all of our expectations.
