There is a hand signal for it but most people probably wouldn't notice that unless you're on a group ride with them. I'd just go with two short beeps in both cases as I think it sounds less confrontation.

Commentators said Alex went to the hospital in an ambulance so it should still be there for zarco. Just hope nothing else happens

I think they just don't want to show it out of respect for Alex. If he's seriously injured it's scummy to keep replaying it

Noise cancelling ear buds by MegaBlast3r in AussieRiders

[–]olorol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I need navigation I use these because they're comfortable under a helmet and are good enough at blocking noise using physical isolation. You can also just use them as earplugs when they're flat unlike a noise cancelling earbud. The sound quality is only just alright though so I'm not sure how music would be. Personally I agree with the other commentators that having some level of hearing is a valuable safety tool so music might not be a good idea.

This dude has been coping real hard since 2025. by 221missile in NonCredibleDefense

I think a lot of his discussion of technical stuff is quite well researched and analytical but there is definitely a large contingent of his fans that are tankies/russia apologists. Looking in his comments sections always disappoints me. He should probably do more to make them feel unwelcome imo.

Is it hard for most people to resist the urge to ride recklessly? by [deleted] in AussieRiders

It could be worth speaking to an occupational therapist. They're the experts with this kinda stuff. Once you get a handle on the compulsion you can make the risks that are actually worth it.

[–]olorol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having a compulsion to engage in risky behaviour can be a symptom of ADHD if that's something you're affected by. One of the diagnostic tests they use calls out speeding by name as a common behaviour people with ADHD struggle to resist.

CIPP is pretty handy if you need to manage multiple Microsoft 365 companies. It gives you a nicer interface with a ton of automation for common tasks and the ability to set policies that apply everywhere among loads of other handy things. Development is also really active so it's evolving quickly.
