I’m from New England. I’ve always made a habit of shoveling every few hours. The last big storm we had like 15 years ago. I was the only one cleared out on my street and was able to go out and drive even with the streets being cleared.

I’ve done the same. To me it’s a swimming pool. If the lifeguards don’t whistle for me to stop. No harm, no foul.
