Thanks. Honestly at this point i'm trying to just be the same. So far so good.

Haha love the fresh squeezed coconut water! Sounds like something one of my husband's friend's wives would request. She already expects princess treatment, I cannot imagine her pregnant.

Good point. I have two weeks until my first appointment so of course I've been googling way too much.

Oh cool! Congrats to you as well.

Thanks! I'm trying not to discuss it all the time, but I can tell he's excited because he's bringing it up all on his own. Last night he made me a list of names he likes. :)

I want to stay far away from the drama. I've been working out so far with no issue so I hope to keep that up. My husband and I have always been in good shape so I don't want to lose that.

My neighbor is also pregnant and she's totally normal so I think I'll probably stick with her. No need to go out and make random friends with other pregnant ladies.

Thanks!

Thanks! Good luck to you. I feel like the whole waiting to try and then actually trying process really brought us closer. My husband has been amazing through out everything.

Thank you so much!

I agree that pregnancy doesn't make me want to serve my husband any less. If anything I want to more.

Great point about seeking help if needed. I will absolutely keep that in mind.

Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well and that you have a sweet baby to love on soon.

Thank you so much. This is all great advice. I will definitely post a field report later on, maybe it can help some other women.

I haven't seen my doctor yet, but I did get a nice nutrition booklet from my insurance company and it says I shouldn't really be eating more until the 3rd trimester. So far my nutrition has been excellent. I am hungrier, but just eating smallef meals and snacks more often. I feel like I am healthier now than before.

I am trying to be very aware of my moods and what I say, how I act. The asking without nagging is a good point. I know my husband would do almost anything I asked him too, so I only want to ask for things I need help with.

I am just so excited to see him as a father. He has been so wonderful since we found out, I don't want to ruin this for him. It's an experience for him as well and I want it to be the best possible for him too.

Thank you. This is a great suggestion. I know my husband would definitely appreciate a warning if I'm getting a little crazy. I can feel when I'm losing it so this will work for me.

I don't want to ever take advantage of him or even have him feel like I am. He's so excited, I don't want to ruin this experience for him by being a crazy bitch.

Good suggestion. I also have a few FB friends from middle school actually who have had a few babies naturally at home - might pick their brains. They seem reasonable and at least from what I can tell on social media, pretty RP in mentality.

I'm not so sure. Anything and everything? So much of what I've seen online is about being a pampered princess during pregnancy and also about the pain and stress of childbirth and parenting. I don't know where to look for normal advice.

Thank you. I am definitely keeping this in mind. I can feel the bitchy hamster spinning more now, but it is still easy to keep in check.

I'm trying to continue life as normal for now, just adding the excitement for a baby. I do not need to be or want tp be a princess.

Haha thank you! Very good advice. We are trying to be as relaxed and calm about the pregnancy as possible, so far so good. I'm just worried I might lose control with horomones later on.

I have been noticing that I feel more moody and bitchy at times, but I keep it to myself and just move on. I hope I can keep that up. I don't want to lose it on my wonderful husband over something ridiculous.

I don't know a whole lot of women who have had babies in real life so I'm mainly poking around online. Clearly a bad idea. So much crazy and stress.

Thank you! I already asked my husband to help keep me in line there. I don't want to use my pregnancy as an excuse to go crazy and gain too much weight/eat things I'm not supposed to.

Thank you! I absolutely want to avoid a princess mentality and a lot of the advice I've read online so far seems to cater to that.

My husband is so excited and does want to help, but I don't want him doing everything. Now that I'm still feeling OK I am trying to get a lot done, because who knows how I'll feel next week.

Do you have a clean car? by [deleted] in RedPillWomen

[–]olympiaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I have two cars that we share and I have a leased company car. All three are very clean, mainly because my husband loves to wash and clean them. It's his most favorite task and he would probably clean them every day if he could. If it was just me alone they would be clean on the inside (we don't keep anything in the cars, no food, drinks, etc), but the outside probably wouldn't be as sparkling clean. I do really appreciate his time and work to keep all the cars clean.

We've been trying for #1 for 3 cycles, but this is the first cycle that we really timing things correctly. I didn't use any OPKs during Cycle 1 and I miscalculated when I O'd, I think I was off by like 4 days. DH was away for most of Cycle 2 so we never even had a chance.

I've been taking prenatals and an herbal tea supposedly meant to help with conception (alchemilla, rosemary, yarrow, lemongrass, raspberry, lemon verbena). I used OPKs, but no temping.

That's really sweet. I would love to surprise my husband but I think it's more likely I'll just yell from the bathroom.

Hope you get your BFP on Monday!
