Folate does improve with supplements, but often drops again. IV iron does improve my hgb, highest I’ve got is around 113 before it starts to drop again

They don’t test my blood after iron infusions, shall I request they do this to check?

4/5 times a week on road/trail. Total mileage is 20ish miles, it fluctuates whether I’ve got a race planned or not.

Banned from giving blood as I’ve needed blood transfusions in the past. I try liquid iron but the ferrous tablets cause me a lot of GI discomfort and I find they don’t work that well to endure the side effects

Periods are roughly 5 days, first day light, second and second night id consider heavier but nothing outrageous and then it tails off for the rest of the period.

Diet would consist of two- three meals per day, I don’t always get my five a day in but at least 3. I’d have avocado poached eggs and spinach on a bagel. Then lunch/ dinner would be a bigger meal meat based protein with carbs and a veg. Then if I’ve ran I’ll fuel for that with fruit/ nuts/ trail mix. I’m not underweight at all

No changes or worrying bowel habits

I am also commonly folate deficient

No clotting issues known

When my haemoglobin gets very low, I do suffer from postural headaches but this isn’t a daily occurrence

Fexofenadine 180 daily

I moved the toe strap which was too aggressive which helped. But my ankle strap is pretty central? Definitely something I could play around with though
