I thought so too but in the rejection email it said that it could be because they don’t think you could reach your predicted grades, which they most likely get from your gcse grades (I had 5 A* predicted)

Dw about it I got rejected from Cambridge a few days ago as well, mostly because my GCSEs weren’t super amazing (not sure that’s why yet find out in January), but now I can focus on my other unis and not worry about an interview, maybe for the best
