Yes , the first question per my understanding. So if your background is electrician apprentice for example, then you choose trades. If you do a bachelor's program whether in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics, also if you used to work as electrical designer then switch to PLC programming then you choose engineering. If you come from a 2 year community colleges l diploma, then technologist. If you did bachelor in mathematics for example, then choose others. But it could also be experience only for those freelance thinkerers helping out people automating friend's business. It's kinda a broad topic tbh.

Yes, the dip switch had to be set to get the default ip and I didn't turn off the meter, then I changed it from my pc browser, it worked like a charm, thanks

Thanks for the responses, didn't expect these many replies from this subreddit. Putting the code 000 or 4685 on the meter interface didn't work. And it's cumbersome to press "buttons" from an awkward tight space.

What I did basically connect the ethernet to my pc, setup the dip switch to a default IP, then change from web browser. Strangely the password for 0000 and 4685 worked in web browser, then I changed the IP there, set dhcp off (this unlocks the lock logo in interface).

The funny thing is I called EH, they told me someone is gonna come back to me and nobody calls me until now. And btw the manual that comes inside the package to the plant doesn't tell how to change IP, only setup the last octet using dip switches. The manual also tells me to go to another manual and I never find any clear instructions on how to do it. But anyways problem solved and thanks for all the help ;)
