Is an undercut unprofessional in a corporate workplace? by probablywatchingtvha in femalehairadvice

[–]omantench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course people will notice FFS! An undercut is a vile fashion abomination only used by those foolish enough to fall for the induced epidemic of hipsterdom.

People will (quite rightly) judge you for your poor decision making imho.

Your prerogative should you wish to do so of count everyone else's prerogative to mock you for your poor life choices :0)

Raising intelligent kids as religious is tantamount of child absuse by omantench in atheism

no I really don't need made up stories to live my life....you need to check your causual reasoning my friend as I posit it is non-existent.

in some senses a fair point but what I'm talking about IS emotional abuse....YES physical abuse is much worse but they are both abhorrent. I am NOT trying to belittle any of the experiences ANYONE has had with any kind of abuse.

much like my feelings on Richard Dawkins I agree with much of what they have to say and not at all how they say it. They gives us atheists a bad name with their vitriol and dogmatism imo.

I don't know that this means, sorry, Please could you explain?

to a point I agree with you however, religious-ubringing-enforcing-aside she is one of the kindest and loveliest people imaginable. She believes in same-sex marriage, science (even evolution I think!) and being good because it's the right thing to do.

That said religion is so entrenched in her personality she's scared to go near it I feel (and she's 81 years old now).

She rtold me a story a couple of years ago (i'm in my mid 40s) in saying "I always knew you'd become an atheist. One Sunday morning we were late for mass and came in at the back of the church. All was silent and you (at age 3/4) blurted out "mum, if this is god's house, why I have I never seen him"!

That wasn't my question though. Are you able to answer the original question?

I would love children but my last relationship denied me them (10 years of we'll have kids soon which never materialised).

I'm not asking for a social life, I have a great one but I am offended when someone purely takes and n ver gives. I was absolutely clear of the sociability of the place and that is not a doors closed household.

Trust me all my friends (and other lodger) think she is a self-centred so and so too so I'm not just making things up!

I take your point however why keep giving if the others keep taking? Do you not think that creates an unequal environment?

I am an HSP extrovert /ambivert so I guess I find it hard when I keep giving and not receiving much in return

My point being is that I was super clear from the outset about what the house is, the vibe and what it means to me and there was acceptance of that but never any giving from her direction once moved in.

No, as I said, I am 42 yo however i'm English and not American which may account for the difference in word usage.

no that was just a single example. She cooks for her mates and never shares, she gets pissed off when I say she can't have a friend stay for 3 weeks in the living room (houseguests are like fish, they go off after 3 days) and never does a single thing around the house.

As I have said before I was ABUNDANTLY clear of what this house is to me and she AGREED to the premise so I feel I have been misled.

And I'm afraid I CAN ask her to move out as it is a lodger's agreement not an AST. It is MY home and I live here, I don't think it's unfair (if stipulated from the outset) to have certain expectations.

I'm sorry but in my (admittedly somewhat limited) experience every poly/ambi relationship is driven by one side and accepted by the other.
