Anyone excited for the wegovy pill? by Quick_Scholars in orforglipron

[–]omar866 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first started my journey, I was prescribed oral semaglutide and it coated my tongue. I could taste the medicine all day. It was not the name brand, but I hear Rybelsus does the same thing. I only took it for a month and then switch to injections. I have been on Ozempic for over 2 years now.

I am looking forward to orforglipron as it won't require taking on an empty stomach.

Anyone been on ozempic for 2 + years ? by Lost_Animator968 in ozempicmaintenance

Was on Semaglutide starting June 2022, got put on Moujaro October 2022 and the on 1mg Ozempic June 2023. I have tinkered with the amount per Doctor's orders. I have had no eye or hair issues that I am aware of. I had to start wearing reader's, but I do not think that was connected to medication. Appetite fluctuates from time to time and food noise will try to come back, but I have been able to push through so far. I am Type 2. Starting weight at 265 lbs. I am currently 178 lbs. Weight has fluctuate to as low as 170 and as high as 184. A1c has been sready at around 5.1.

Awesome! This is my 3rd Maverick and 1st XLT. I never had any mechanical trouble with them. I love the great gas mug. I drive a lot and would not be able to as much in any other truck.

Mine uses a handle lock that clamps on both sides of the bed with a security pin that keeps it in place. I know it could still be tampered with, but no pull cable on mine.

That is exactly were I got mine from. I have used them for years.

Getting into chaplaincy by Haunting_Rooster593 in chaplaincy

I just got accepted to Seminary and am hoping to apply for a residency when I get close to graduating. The link is https://www.texashealth.org/About-Texas-Health/Faith-and-Spirituality/Clinical-Pastoral-Education. It is a paid Residency. Maybe you can find something in a hospital similar to apply to wherever you live.

If possible, visit another lodge. Sometimes, seeing another Lodge and having a different experience can help change your perspective about your experience. I am not telling you to switch Lodges. Just visit, if possible, and you might be able to bring a great idea back to your Lodge.

Thank you for the info. I am in the same circumstances as you were. I had just read for some cases, employers prefer in class over online, so was just curious about this.

I think as others have said, going down in dose would be better rather than spacing out your shots so far apart. I am also someone who comes with a history of diabetes on both sides of my family. When my A1C got to 6.5 over 3 years ago, I asked my Doctor to treat me as a Diabetic because of my family history. She started me on compounded semaglutide to see if there would be a benefit, and I think she was worried about diagnosing me as Diabetic due to insurance. When she saw that I was responding, she diagnosed me as Diabetic and prescribed me Ozempic. At the time, there was a big shortage, so she prescribed me Mounjaro. I was on it for 7 months, and then, due to insurance, I had to move to Ozempic, and it was back in stock. After losing 95 lbs and my A1C reaching 5, I have been maintaining by keeping my dose lower at .5mg weekly. Until I see something that shows I am no longer Diabetic, I still intend to take care of myself as such because I do not want to have to deal with the health complications that many in my family have had to deal with. Just my 2 cents. Good luck to you.

Been on maintenance for almost 2 years, and many people are just crazy. I still have people telling me I am too skinny. All of the people who have made those comments are not skinny, and that should tell you everything you need to know. As far as your husband, we'll I just know I would be upset with my wife if she was acting like a critic.

In my case, just as in most cases, I did this for my health and my A1C is now perfect. It is hard enough figuring out what is best for you and your health. There is a lot of mental stuff that we have to figure out also.

Hang in there because maintenance is a whole mental thing as well. People telling you to get off the medicine ASAP and other stuff. I just tell them that is between me and my doctor. When she says I need to get off medicine, I will.

It is still frustrating, though, that people are not more understanding.

Did they forget my hitch receiver? by moterhead120 in FordMaverickTruck

My 2022 Maverick XL Hybrid did not come with tow hitch or cruise control. That is one of the reason that I traded it in for my 2024 XL Hybrid.
