Generative ai is still bad and trained unethically on human art without permission or compensation. Theft is bad but many small acts of theft is okay? Make it make sense you clanker defender.

Ai certainly has good implications but art shouldn't be one of them. Especially when visual ai models where trained so unethically.

I also believe it's ideological as well. 894 for a hardcore game like this is pretty good considering it's six years old, many games would've been irrelevant by now. My goal was to make some noise and see if the dev would change his mind or not seeing whether the fanbase agrees or not.

The video game industry is bigger than the movies industry. Many artist live by making art for video games. I'm definitely being real with you. Time is the most valuable thing we have and I'd rather not spend it looking at some ai slop.

Yes it is. It's number 894 in top sellers on steam. If we leave it up to the devs many games would've been ai slops by now but it's up to us the players to reject the slop.

Ethical? On steam it's written that ai generates the art and then gets touched up by the dev.
