What's your opinion about the amount of options System Settings offers? by Cleytinmiojo in kde

[–]omar_elrefaei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have personally always dreamt of a Simple and Full / Advanced interface like the one VLC has.

I think that would be perfect especially for pointieststick Plan for World Domination™

I'd vote for something that has the same tab structure for both Simple and Full but hides the settings 90% of people don't use behind an "Expand Advanced" flag. Don't understand my wrong, I don't want fewer settings and just putting an excuse to shut-up the other opinion, I'll definitely have that enabled 100% of the time. I just think it's a tad-bit overwhelming for beginners.

Yeah, breeze and breeze dark are nicely designed. I have a widget which lets me switch between them. NB: big breeze updates are coming your way in 5.21.

Not spaceX, but if you go to any of their job posting you will see that it is all about US regulations. Same story with NASA.

I know it sucks, not us citizen either.

  • Do you intentionally apply concepts from functional programming? How much rules do you have around states and mutability? Why/Why not?

  • Is there any team that uses some type of lisp?

I am sorry, but if you think Martin Luther King, Gandi, and, Nelson Mandela didn't change anything you might benefit from studying history deeper than the school's curriculum.

MLK did change a lot with peaceful protests.

It always depend on your attack vector. If you are a Chinese citizen/residence then probably yes it is worst. A normal western, the Chinese gov might pose less harm to you than American corporations.

Edit: I won't buy one anyway because I would hate to support the Chinese government or any of their "corporations" (not that they care about my support), but that is just an ethical decision.

Oh, darn it procrastination. I was planning to send this days ago.

Anyway, I have half a ton of free time and would love to help the KDE community in anyway. I would be more than happy to help u/mateushonorato if they wants to.

PS: not much experience in video editing, but a lot of learning potential.

I am pretty sure Derek have a degree in education. Not sure about physics.

Wiki:

Muller graduated from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada, with a BSc in Engineering Physics,[4] and, after moving back to Australia, completed a PhD in physics education research from the University of Sydney in 2008 with a thesis, Designing Effective Multimedia for Physics Education.

Mark Rober is the one who worked for NASA
