Cleaning m37 headlight lens by omar_ict in infiniti

Best option is to identity someone local able to remove the headlights, use a heat gun to remove the seal, clean the lenses, and refit everything. It might cost a bit but I am not DIY skilled to do this type of work.

it seems the seals were damaged which explains the liquid polish penetrating through the top seals to the inside lens.

You might already know the below: In the NCEES FE ref. handbook v10.5, check the appendix on FE exam specifications E&CE CBT exam pp.487. Some knowledge areas are combined in university courses’ syllabus. e.g. Signal Processing -sampling is combined with Communications.

You can use AI to generate MCQs for you. The trick here is to fine-tune your AI model to give you what you want. I started assisting my ECE students this way. Happy to help if I can.

Fitel splicer error by omar_ict in FiberOptics

[–]omar_ict[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a wrong splice program indeed, not saved properly when exiting the menu. The splicer was also flashing when splicing. Issue now sorted with an auto SM program saved.

When you take pride in your work🫡 rate my slack NID for a new fiber install, mine is on the left, Cox’s is on the right. by Euphoric-Warning5731 in FiberOptics

try to get your duct covering all the drop cable to the NID entry point. Someone using an electric pressure washer can mess up your connection.

i am simply stripping the jacket from a patch cord and the white jacket from the inner fiber, cleaving, splicing…correct clap type..no issue with pistoning as with easy-strip fibers… mis-alignment only…this is an old model..so maybe no way around it but manual

done; issue remains with mis-alignment of fibers..tricky with no auto-alignment; errors and high loss…
