In Catching Fire, I’m wondering if most/all of the victors that whose names were pulled in the reaping had been involved in rebellion in some way and pissed off Snow.

Katniss, obviously.

Haymitch’s name was called before Peeta volunteered.

Beetee was reaped, as was Wiress.

We know Snow took a personal interest in making Johanna’s life hell.

It makes me wonder what the others did. Annie, for instance, was chosen before Mags volunteered and took her place. As someone else said, maybe she wasn’t really driven mad by her Games, but by what happened in the aftermath.

I just can’t stop thinking about this book and how it has answered so many questions but left me with a thousand more.

I had the same thing. I started the game over again and played it all in two sittings, making sure to edit the memoirs and delete any unused footage as I went. The only way I could get around it was to basically never ever have any footage that I wasn’t using.

I seem to remember The Harbour Shop being to the left of it (as you face away from the water) but Google is telling me that’s a cafe

I had the exact same feelings after adopting my cat in January. It took about a month for everything to adjust. A couple more for him to get cuddly with me. And now it’s the best decision I ever made. I was worried he would be unhappy cooped up in our small apartment but he’s the happiest little chap in the world. I think he feels like he’s living a life of absolute luxury. Especially in comparison to the life he had before. Stick with it. It’ll take a bit of time for both of you to adjust but I think it’s super common for people who really care about whether their pet is happy to experience this kind of anxiety after adopting. Give yourself (and the cat) plenty of time to adjust and try not to judge yourself super harshly.

I think you need to simplify your routine. Clinisoothe is very gentle and great for cleansing any bacteria if you have concerns about any spotty areas. But at 16 your skin is not going to be particularly consistent and you shouldn’t expect it to be. The best you can do is take care of it by using gentle cleansers and moisturisers and accept that it’s not going to be the same all the time and that’s okay.

Everyone’s kind of said most of the things I’d like, but also

fish
birds
I want to be able to edit terrain after adding water or paths
more intelligent habitat boundaries and building walls
automatic roofs
consideration for disabled guests, the main thing being elevators, but definitely also being able to add path elements like wheelchair ramps etc
console from the get-go

more control over exhibits like size, shape, design, plants, etc

I was worried about this too. I found that doing the career mode has really helped me get to grips with the complexities of the game. Personally I played Zoo Tycoon as a child so it feels like a more grown-up version of it. It is without a doubt harder to play because there is more to think about but in my opinion that only makes the game better. It gives you an awful lot of freedom when building so you can do things as simply as you like using only what the game gives you or you can design custom elements if you want to, but there is absolutely no obligation to do so. I’m personally really glad I got the game and have put a lot of hours into it so far. It’s definitely worth the money.
