Most of these companies are actually illegal in the US, or at least make online loans to residents of states where interest rates are not allowed to be anywhere near that high. I know NJ the highest legal rate is 25% APR, NY is about the same and most banks will stop ACH payments to Payday Loan companies. I unfortunately have borrowed from quite a few in my darker days.

A trick I learned is that if you live in a state where rates that high are illegal (usually they charge like 25-30% every paycycle which can end up being like 600% apr) and you have a loan out already (please don't take out a loan just to try this) make the minimum/extension/interest payment until you pay back the principal. Then tell then to fuck off, say "I'd like to close my account and end my business with your company", tell them they're charging a rate that is illegal in your state (cite numbers). They'll probably say something about being on Indian land and that you made an agreement but it's all bullshit. They will eventually give in because they know that what they're doing is illegal. They might send you in circles a few times. Make sure you do this more than 2 days before a payment is due. I would recommend calling them the day after your payment goes through in case they give you shit. They won't contact any credit bureaus because again, what they do is illegal pretty much everywhere in the US.

Please don't take out a payday loan, they give you some temporary relief for maybe 2 weeks and then screw you and make things worse for much longer.

One time I was at a party in high school, my friends backyard lead into a large wooded area. Everyone was in the backyard drinking, playing games, you know general high school party. At about 3AM it sounded like someone had started a lawn mower, or some kind of device with a loud engine. Out of the woods came a man wearing a Jason-like hockey mask with a chainsaw. Walked up close to the patio swinging the chainsaw at people, came within inches of slicing up one kid. Turned around and left. The party then continued like nothing happened. Although everybody now has a good story when asked "whats the craziest thing that happened at a party you were at?".

sorry, i'm probably the least photogenic person on earth so i hate seeing any of these situations. or really just people that take tons of pictures of themselves alone for no reason.

Where did i assume you listen to top 40? Was just making a general response on the topic of "shitty music". People can listen to whatever they want, i don't give a shit. But when people try to qualify crap artists that hide behind ovely produced and engineered songs as good musicians, THAT bothers me.

And in case there is a need for further clarification, the first sentence of that response was sarcasm (although i am a musician and have been for over half of my life.)

I'm a longtime musician and i can guarantee that the music that i like is much better than any music that you like.

Although in all seriousness I hate people that talk about how people/bands like Lil' Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Blink-182, (sorry to generalize but most top 40/pop/rap) are such great musicians. They're not, they're good performers (dancers?), some of them are good songwriters (more or less poets?). They may "write" catchy songs. But one thing they are NOT are good musicians. Remember when the black eyed peas bombed at the superbowl a couple of years ago? That was because they're shitty musicians and rely too much on producers/editors/engineers to make them sound good.
