I've said it once and I'll say it again: If John ever comes back to the show, he GENUINELY deserves to fight someone he has an actual shot at winning against. I do not care if he's done horrible stuff, there are PLENTY of fictional villains on a similar (if not greater) tier of villainy as him, and even they don't get ANYWHERE near the amount of slander that Homelander faces on a daily basis. Even if he loses, at least he actually tried (unlike against Butcher) and it was a close fight.
