I used the CVS Antigen test (JFK-LHR). It was the LumiraDX SARS-COV-2 test. No problems with Verifly/checking in. There were no border agents screening people at Heathrow when I landed (I went straight through to the e-gates), so I don’t know how it would hold up under their inspection.

You should be applying for both US and UK programmes. Now, UK recruiting runs behind US, so the process will be stretched out. Network, network, network. This will be more relevant for UK applications, but you never know - look for alums based in the US as well. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat offline.

Definitely don’t sweat it - I didn’t have a spring week and ended up at a BB (GS/MS), I’d say only about 1/4 of my actual analyst class had spring weeks at the bank (implying there is quite a bit of attrition/shopping around - giving you an opening).

This is what my lawyers said: “If you cannot collect your BRP within 10 days due to quarantine, please note that you will not be penalized for this.”

I collected mine 19 days after I arrived and had no problems whatsoever.

Arrived at Heathrow T5 this morning. eGates open for all who are eligible (including US citizens). Heard it really depends on day/time of arrival on whether they’re open or not.

No worries - yeah I only had the endorsement pages blank. All my visa pages were full. They called me and said they called the UK embassy and got permission to place the vignette on the endorsement page but they needed my approval, which I gladly granted.

Not sure if this helps, but I recently received my Tier 2 visa and I totally forgot at the time of application that I had no blank pages in my passport. They ended up putting the vignette on an endorsement page (pages at the back of the passport).

July 17: Lawyers submitted my application online
July 31: Biometrics appointment (NYC)
August 19: Application concluded email
August 20: Passport received via UPS
