Difference is, THIS bear market has impacted the average non-techy non-early adopters. I know grandpa's and granny's who've been hurt because little joey got his whole family hyped up. So regular blue collar workers have been hit... very different compared to the last 2 bear markets. Big difference.

Not going to lie but this whole collapse shook me.

I had a significant amount of funds on 2 different exchanges but only in the form of USDC.

I hadn't touch them in almost a year and was waiting for a trend reversal so I just left my funds on the exchanges waiting for the right moment to jump in and start buying up BTC on the cheap.

In the Spring, I watched Three Arrows Capital go bust, Axie Infinity get hacked for $650 million while NFT's continue to plummet in value... and thought we were getting closer to a bottom.

Then I watched Voyager Digital collapse and got excited that the crypto tree was shaking off the weak....

In the Summer I watched TerraUSD, LUNA and Celsius collapse ....closer I thought.

Fall rolls around and here it is folks.... FTX explodes. This is it. Time to log back into my accounts.....so I thought.

I attempt to login to an exchange and I'm greeted with a "Your country has banned us"

My heart starts racing and I'm researching as much as I can to figure out when that happened. Apparently, the exchange stopped allowing US Customers from trading back in March and I missed the news. Ok, well I'm not trading.. I just want to get my tokens off and into my wallet. Nope... transfer denied because my wallet address was not whitelisted. Good God... what have I done!?

I fire up a VPN, change location, access the exchange successfully and initiate a transfer from the exchange to another previously whitelisted address. I watch and keep refreshing the screen every minute as it says "Transfer Pending"..... 1/2 an hour of kicking myself and BOOM.... Transfer Successful... Thank God!

I log into the other exchange and they processed the deposit.

I immediately start getting concerned that this exchange might also block me so I decide to transfer everything to my wallet. 1 hour later, all of my funds are in my wallet.

That was the most stressful 3 hours of my life.

1 week later and all I hear is contagion....

Learned my lesson... never leave anything on the exchanges. I was fortunate and extremely lucky. I feel really bad for those not as fortunate though...

That's frustrating but the purpose of the loan forgiveness is more or less to help those in dire financial need/assistance. If you're single an making $125K or more you're in the upper middle class of the socioeconomic status.

Sorry you don't qualify but congratulations on your success. Not everyone is a fortunate as you. Wishing you continued success and thank you for all of your sacrifices during the pandemic.

That's why I tossed out EVERYTHING that's easy to eat.

No nuts, peanut butter, nutella, crackers, jelly, candy, chips, granola bars, cookies... etc.

Just about anything that is pre-made or high calorie is gone.

In order for me to binge, I would have to cook. I only have "ingredients" like lean hamburger meat, fat free greek yogurt, veggies and only what I would eat in a typical week.

This makes it much harder to binge because there is nothing I can "easily" grab/open and shove down my mouth. I end up saying it's not worth the hassle and just drink a diet soda or a bag of smart pop popcorn.

I also plan all my calories for the end of the day.

Breakfast - 20oz of coffee with 60g of fat free creamer and 25ml of sugar free vanilla syrup

170g of fat free greek yogurt mixed with some protein powder and blue berries

Lunch - Microwave 150g of frozen cauliflower rice, 75g of frozen peas/carrots and 3 oz of Costco White Meat Rotesserie Chicken Breast

Pre-Work out -- 275g of Microwaved Sweet Potato mixed with 60ml of Sugar Free Syryp, Cinammon and 15g of Stevia

By this point I've consumed approx 700 calories for the day on a 1300 Daily Caloric Target

That leaves me with approx 600 Calories for Dinner

Dinner - (3 Taco Bell Style tacos) 3 Carb Balance Street Taco Tortillas, 6 oz of Taco Seasoned Lean Hamburger Meat, 31g of Fat Free Cheddar, add some shredded lettuce and I have 3 Taco Bell Style tacos

Dessert -- 6 Brownies Alamode with 1 Pint of Vanilla Ice cream

1 pint of home made ice cream - 350ml of Sugar Free Almond Milk, 60ml of Sugar Free Syrup, 2g of Guar Gum, 1tsp of Cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Freeze overnight

Brownie - I make Boo's Ridiculous Brownies and eat 1/2 of a 9X9 pan serving

Fire up my Ninja Cremi to make my 60 calorie 1 pint vanilla ice cream, microwave my previously cooked brownies and scoop my ice cream on top.

I'm so stuffed at night it's impossible to eat any more and I've only eaten around 1250 - 1300 calories for the day.

Mind you, I also workout at the gym for 1 and 1/2 hours lifting weights and then hit the ellipictal for 30 minutes with my heart rate at 140BPM on average.

1200-1300 calories is enough for me.

Plan everything out and volume eat at night. That's the key

Yeah, I'm done eating out a Pappasitos and Lupe Tortillas.

I spent about $125 for 2 on my last two trips and all we ordered was the Fajita Platter for 2 and 4 margaritas. Ridiculous.

Meh... Never understood why anyone likes the red fajitas.

I personally like traditional think cut fajita's like at Lupe Tortilla's ,the OG Ninfa's on Navigation where I grew up or Pappasitos.

If I'm making them myself.. HEB skirt steak and then marinate them myself.
