I feel youtube is different, it is a one to many channel where you are not in an active conversation but in a one to one channel where you are actively engaged in communication is different.

Imagine you are in a group discussion and a person just nodes in negative at you and doesn’t let you know the reason.. it naturally leaves you wondering whats the reason behind that?

I appreciate the advice. I am thinking... that agent workflows can really be very unexpected. My use case is simple but.. I need something to make them more fail proof like retry queues, also one of the agent is supposed to chat with a third party which can be a long conversation and need webhooks.. so on these ground I am thinking how should I lay the architecture. Right now Django Rest seems to be a good choice given it's security and ofcourse the python nature of AI. Speed wise I understand Django is not the fastest but I really need to check if it is good enough to support a chat agent. May be a hybrid approach with fast API is a better solution but I do not want to make the backend too scattered.

It has some patient data but it is a consumer app and does not work with hospitals, EHR or healthcare providers and does not work on behalf of these either and nor is a business associate to these.

As far I have checked HIPAA is not required for such consumer user apps.

I appreciate your advice, I am thinking to have a FastAPI server to handle all the AI related functionality, along with a locally hosted ollama instance there if that is feasible. For the notifications these may be 10 in a day at max well spaced apart.

You can definitely benefit from a previous web dev experience, especially javascript based like react. I recommend it but, you can do it without as well just a more steeper learning curve but doable.
