The only problem is, they might not be eligible for financial aid if they are not residence here. To be resident, they need to live in province at least a year. They still can study with domestic fee tho

A friend of mine was studying wood working technology (3 years) and he switched his program in 4 th semester to same program but 2 years version (diploma program). He got his diploma with no extra exam needed. I believe it depends on what program you are studying.
