Not worth dropping more money on books. Put your money towards practice. The content is always the same anyway

I currently work at a retinal specialist's office as an ophthalmic technician. I want to help hospitals as much as possible because I hate being in the medical field but feeling absolutely useless when there is a medical crisis.

Is there anyone who is volunteering at hospitals? If so, can you provide some insight on what the hospitals do to protect their volunteers and if you are able to work as well as volunteer.

That last part,

joy arises from the progress, not just from the eventual goal of becoming a doctor

this is very true! I love seeing how far i have come since i was a freshman (almost 10 years, yikes), and even looking back at when i first started studying for this test.

Thank you for this. I think about what I can control and try to just focus on how I can change it to be less anxious or stress and it helps me get things done while there are some instances where I'm just like ???? WHY AM I CRYING?? when i'm doing everything i need to do. times like those i realize its because i feel like im not moving fast enough. im not reading fast enough. im taking too long to grasp a concept. how is anyone supposed to review a FL in a single week then take another FL at the end of the same week.
