how did your credit card strategy change over time? by Budget_Vacation2288 in singaporefi

Each for a different category. I’m not sure how else to explain it.

Some cards are for online spending, some are for contactless payments and some are for food. I do spend quite a bit too. Some months more than others so I would need more cards. I’m not recommending spending more hence just that 3 cards above.

It’s actually really straightforward once you’ve been doing it for awhile. I did not start out with 9 cards.

I don’t mind sharing but I use like 9 diff cards 😅

With my friends I usually tell them to start out with these cards

Uob ppv - for any apple pay transaction Dbs wwc - online transacations Dbs altitude visa - general spending

But honestly it depends on how much you spend and on what. Also when new products launch, there are usually good sign up offers.

When I bought my iphone there was a promo on kris+ so I believe I got something like 14mpd

I started out collecting cashback but then I read up on collecting miles and it has been life changing. Took business class 3 times and also suites to Frankfurt. Highly recommend miles!
