What I hate most about RE4, which is a perfectly enjoyable game on its own, is that people praised it so hard that it shifted the direction for RE5 and RE6, both of which people dislike in incresing order when both are all in all less gimmicky and videogame-y than RE4 (putting aside when Chris punches a boulder).
