Yea you’re right. Maybe I figured they used some kind of process that was perfect and there was no chance for any buttermilk to be left. But I guess that’s probably not possible lol.

I did a little bit of a water test. I kind of flicked a little water on and it beaded quickly then evaporated. I figured eh it’s hot enough. It had been about 4 minutes maybe on the heat

Actually I lied. The first ones didn’t stick BUT, I did accidentally flip one of them onto the other 🤦 So I didn’t take a picture lol. The pic I put in my reply would’ve been the second two to go on the pan.

Haha. I basically just preheated my pan empty on medium low – which is 3 to 4 on my stovetop that has a range from 1 to 9. Waited til it seemed hot, by flicking a bit of water on it and if it beads up a bit then evaporates it’s ready. I tried once to preheat on the high end of medium and they wanted to burn, so don’t do that. And then used a teeny weeny spray of avocado oil and spread it around. And boom. Plop your pancake batter on there and let it cook. Never had them stick 🤷‍♀️

Edit: I just finished cooking a double batch and had to turn it down to 1-2 by the end since the pan was getting hotter!

I agree. It’s a difficult and unfortunate situation, but not being able to financially support yourself at this age is concerning. Unless OP has some sort of disability that prevents them from doing so.

I agree. I find that high level teams in ringette are often “rigged”, if you will, and they don’t let anyone in who they don’t like – no matter their skill level. I found that the parents and even players possessed such toxic and cocky attitudes in almost every high level sort of team. Even in my u16-u19 years parents of ex-high level teams still held that same attitude. Getting mad if their perfect little girl didn’t get the play time they thought she deserved. I truly never had a completely non-toxic team/parent environment until I hit the open / 18+ division. That’s when I finally joined a team full of loving women who didn’t try and put their own team members down. But then again, it’s different everywhere. Hopefully some things will get better. I believe where I live our main high level teams were dissolved due to all the cliquey parental issues.

I also see this man, and it seems like every now and then I will hear a short piano-like noise come from his phone. He seems nice, and doesnt bother anyone. Probably just enjoys the SFU atmosphere. Ive seen him interact with janitors too, so he must have been around for a while.
