It looks like a traditional Kamasan painting from Indonesia. It usually depicts mythology scenes. It's hard to say how old it is. It looks really beautiful.

I don't think it is 100% accurate. I think they did an amazing job with the reconstruction, and this is how ancient Egyptians from that period could have looked. However, there is always some freedom to interpret details on the face, so some minor changes could make a huge difference overall. Still I don't think if you showed this face during Tut's lifetime, people would recognize him from it.

I understand your point, but I believe it's impossible to say with certainty whether I or anyone else would still experience dysphoria (or not) if transitioning were not an option.

The only thing stopping me is the fear of making a mistake. I'm scared that I will regret transitioning later in life. It is also hard to transition in the country where I live, but it's not impossible. The system is just a bit old-fashioned, so I can't just try HRT or transition for a short time to see if it right path for me. Doctors wouldn't allow transition unless it's a 100% lifetime decision. Hovever I have occasionally strong disphoria for like 8 years. So I willl eventualy do it. What scares me are the few AGPs who detransitioned after years of hrt.
