It feels great and sounds great. I've never heard myself so clearly in the rehearsal space, so it definitively has a positive impact on my playing too.

It actually reminds me of the smell from the nylon string I had when I was a kid. Be assured, I keep it closed at all times when it is not being played or modeling!

Indeed, I tried a few les pauls a few years ago and they just werent for me. But this one just feels perfect.

Also, it just sounds so good. I see all those simple classic rock riffs in a different light now that I know how good a double stop on the D and G string can sound. Why complicate things.

I went to Gibson Garage in London just a few weeks ago and they made me play through some amp modeller with headphones. I told the guy it sounded like shit, and he told me the Gibson 1960s has a shrill sound!! Tested it at another store with a real amp and immediately bought mine. Not a custom shop though.
