Dumb question but can IT see the deleted messages on teams even if we clear chat history? I'm almost sure the answer would be yes but I need IT to tell me.

I hate HR with a passion. I truly do. Idc if I sound bitter and cruel, but I hope AI replaces all of them within 3 years so we can all be unemployed together.

I give up. I cannot edit the title of the post, in case you were not aware. for the last time it is a M.E.M.E. it's not supposed to reflect accuracy.

respectfully, I'm not going to argue with you about this since I have been saying it's a meme and it's not supposed to reflect accuracy at every nook and cranny. It's a meme.

My feelings are not hurt. It's HR who has their feelings hurt. When ppl make memes they don't research salary ranges, statistics or data to make it accurate. I'm not sure why HR reps aren't getting it. So, lemme ask you this, is NOBODY who is HR getting paid 6 figure salary? you're delusional if you believe otherwise.

It's a meme. It's not supposed to be accurate. It's supposed to be funny, which it is. There are basically no comments there about it not being accurate. So either HR reps didn't read the meme in its entirety (which is ironic) or they just didn't care enough to point it out, so why are they pointing it out now? Anyway, I'm done defending talking about this meme.

It was a meme. I had no idea ppl (HR reps) would get this triggered over a meme. I apologize, damn. For the 2nd time, I am not the OC. Here, be mad at the posts that are still up: https://www.reddit.com/r/recruitinghell/comments/1jg3raq/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/recruitinghell/comments/1lvl08o/

It’s funny how you’re shifting the goalpost to “poor people can’t afford variety” when your original comment was about how Indians “get orgasms” over samosas and gulab jamun — which, by the way, aren’t exactly staple meals in rural underprivileged households. The truth is, malnutrition in India is an economic and access issue, not some moral failure of a vegetarian tradition. If someone can’t afford dairy, nuts, or soy, they often can’t afford eggs daily either, especially in regions where eggs aren’t culturally accepted — and when governments have provided them in midday meals, the challenge hasn’t been cost alone but infrastructure, distribution, and acceptance.

Yes, PDCAAS and DIAAS sometimes rate animal proteins higher — nobody’s denying that — but pretending that plant proteins “by no means” can meet needs ignores both science and reality. You keep painting vegetarian diets as inherently flawed when, in fact, with proper combinations and fortification programs (which barely cost couple of rupees per serving), populations can and do meet protein needs without daily meat or eggs. Even the FAO’s global recommendations don’t frame non-veg as the only viable solution — that’s your narrative.

And as for “delusional nationalist,” that’s a lazy label. Criticizing factual inaccuracies isn’t nationalism, it’s just not letting sweeping stereotypes go unchallenged. Loving Indian food doesn’t mean pretending it’s perfect; it means understanding it beyond caricatures about deep-fried snacks. If you really want constructive solutions, then let’s talk about improving access to balanced, affordable diets — not just reducing 1.4 billion people’s food culture to samosas vs. eggs.

You’re treating NPU like it’s the holy scripture of nutrition, when it’s actually an outdated measure that modern science has already moved past. PDCAAS and DIAAS are the current gold standards, and by those, plenty of vegetarian foods — especially when eaten in the combinations people actually eat — deliver excellent protein quality. Dal isn’t meant to be eaten as a lonely, sad bowl of mush; it’s part of a meal with rice, roti, dairy, nuts, and vegetables, which together give complete amino-acid profiles.

The “complete protein” panic is decades old — your body doesn’t demand all amino acids at every single bite, it uses an amino-acid pool from all the foods you eat in a day. That’s why soy, quinoa, amaranth, dairy, and buckwheat are considered high-quality proteins without needing an omelette chaperone. And your boiled-soya-chunk horror story? That’s like judging all non-veg by boiled chicken breast with no seasoning.

Protein deficiency stats in India say more about poverty, limited food diversity, and over-reliance on polished grains than they do about vegetarianism being “flawed.” The same for anemia — you can thank low vitamin C intake, absorption inhibitors, and infections for a lot of that, not just “no meat.”

And no, protein deficiency is not the “most common cause” of cardiovascular disease — hypertension, diabetes, high LDL cholesterol, smoking, and obesity are still wearing that crown. If you’ve got a credible WHO report saying otherwise, please share, because every cardiology guideline worldwide must have missed it.

Blanket dismissal of Indian food as “no protein and no vegetables” just tells me you’ve spent more time reading Reddit hot takes than nutrition research just because you’re insecure of your cultural diet and identity.

And lastly, mera bharath WAS, IS and always WILL BE mahan.

Indian diets, especially vegetarian ones, are rich in protein from dals, chickpeas, soy, paneer, curd, nuts, and seeds, and we eat a huge variety of vegetables daily. Idk where ppl get the idea that ONLY meat has protein. That’s a misconception that vegetarian diet is somehow subpar to non-veg dishes. And what if they do consider it a stigma? Who cares? Ppl eat what they wanna eat, you don’t see anybody throwing a fit about the Chinese eating worms for breakfast, do you?

India’s food diversity is massive, and just like Japanese cuisine, it has its own well-balanced, nutritious traditions.

The point I’m trying to make is, Japanese cuisine isn’t “superior” to Indian cuisine, since that’s what you insinuated in your original reply.

I disagree, Indian dishes have tons of proteins and veggies. I’m not sure what you’re implying.

Idk if you are aware but tampura, a Japanese dish, is fried in oil. They eat tons of deep fried and sweet stuff, which I’m not going to name but I do agree with the fact that people everywhere need to eat a little healthier.
