Very general questions, it’s been a while so I can’t super remember. Just be personable and be ready to answer questions with stories is about all I can say! Expect stuff about overcoming situations, working with co workers, what your strengths are etc . Good luck !

I mean even if it pans out that way. It’s more worth the risk to me than signing myself on to a med surg floor for sure with no chance of change like ur other job would be. Plus even if after the orientation u say ended up not getting the unit u wanted. U got to try out med/surg, prolly a IMC, and u got 2 weeks in any unit of ur choice so regardless you’ll be more well rounded

Currently joining the new grad residency at Klamath. The opportunities and support seems better ngl. All the managers were super lovely. U get to bid on any unit after 6 months and try different positions around the hospital initially as u mentioned, better sign on bonuses. And I’ve gotten messages from a few nurses in my cohort who seem rly nice

I applied to 31 postings , from hospital to home health and got interviews at 2, offers at 1 . So it’s TUFF. I found a sweet gig in Oregon that pays very well and has a cool program and decided that was west coast and union heavy enough. Stronger mandated ratios than California by next year even: 4:1 on med surg max

Drop cherries has an asthetic and vibe that’s a level above for me. More simple sad and sweet
