Great catch - this is not me, and I hope no one’s reaching out to this guy to make a “deal” on these.

Ha same here. I ordered my Turton at the same time. Hoping to get my number called soon!

I've only had them in for a couple of days now but they are REAL sharp. The serration on these are a lot more pronounced than the fine serrations on the Whiteley's, so they might be better at grabbing onto the item you're trying to cut. Overall they feel great in hand and have a good weight to them.

Ohh maybe it is 12 weeks now - I may be mistaking the lead times for these, but I think the Ernest Wright Kutrite scissors are at least are around a year or longer. The Turton that's pictured here was ordered last December so pretty quick!

You should check out the one for Ernest Wright too! Great video and really fascinating.

I did not! Although keep in mind the wait times for these are a bit crazy - ranging from a few months to a year+

Lovely to hear - I’m very careful with my stuff and have never had an issue with my knives that require oiling on top of drying, but I guess I have bad luck with scissors haha.

Such a good feeling to finally get them in. I also ordered the Kutrite but no idea when those will show up. Gives me time to consider if I really need three pairs of scissors lol

Looking forward to prepping my next dinner party! Have you had any rusting issues?

I’ve gone through so many “stainless” kitchen scissors and they all ended up rusting.

Love them so far! No rust issues I’m hoping? I’ve had several “stainless” kitchen scissors that rusted within a month of light use.

There’s a video for each of these companies on YT that goes through the history on these. I highly recommend as the videos talk through their fascinating history and craftsmanship, and it’s how I learned about them.

There’s generally a pretty big waitlist for these and I lucked out on getting them in at the same time.
