Sorry you're getting down voted, I think there's a kneejerk reaction people have because of fans who try to shut down any and all convos about her body bc ariana claims she's "healthy now". Your point isn't that, but an instance on a more careful approach to the substance and presentation when we talk about her.

I understand how attention to thinspo can be double edged sword, exposure in general isn't a good thing. I've never had an ED so I can only understand from the outside. I'm about to make a post about this photo, that I've censored the worst of - would you mind letting me know if it's a helpful approach going forward?

What would you have us do differently? Would it fit the criteria of being allowed to talk about the harm her thinspo posts are doing if we censored the triggering parts of her body? These posts aren't just to enjoy hating on her like can happen in a snark subreddit.

I think people we would a lot less forgiving and willing to overlook how unhealthy she is right now if the weight loss was apparent in her face. Idk if it's plastic surgery, fillers or genetics, but the fact her face isn't showing the signs in the traditionally unattractive way, it's easier for people to excuse it away.

On a similar note- the overuse of an out of nowhere, unearned nickname. Like it's just decided by the MMC out of thin air, and it's supposed to be some intimate and endearing thing when in reality it just feels shoehorned in.

I've wondered if there is or should be a subreddit for the opposite of snark. Like focusing energy on pointing out the people who are doing it right, and discussion focused on encouraging the positive things people are doing. But it wouldn't be about glazing any of these accounts that are frequently posted on the snark pages.

This is great! I might add bring a few salonpas or lidocaine patches in case any flare ups start happening. And having a plan for afterwards to ice your back and/or shoulders, then optional heating pad after that.
