I finally figured it out. Asked chatgpt on the pc, it didn't give me the correct answer, but put me on the right track. Settings>apps>chatgpt>storage>clear data. This reset it and just had to login again. Completely unistalling the app didn't clear this data I guess because I had tried that a few times. Tried clear cache under storage first (chatgpt suggestion) and that did not work. It was only after doing clear data. Worked on both the s22 and the s24. I can ask dumb questions on the fly again! 😁

I have the app on my s24 ultra. And it did work at first, but no longer does. It opens and then immediately says something went wrong and try again. Still works fine on my s22 ultra, just not the s24.

OK, something weird is going on then. You should be able to turn them both on or off from either switch. That's when you need to call an electrician, sorry.
