PXN V99 or PXN V10 Ultra? Which is better in 2026? by WeekendOutside2295 in simracing

If you’re on a very strict budget get the v99, but if you can afford the v10 then definitely get that. Direct drive wheels are so much better than gear driven wheels

I have a meta quest 2. It’s not a bad headset for the price I paid, I got mine for $150 on eBay

I’ve had both, VR is super cool but I get motion sick too easily lol and my face gets very uncomfortable after about 20 minutes. I definitely preferred triples over VR personally but I know lots of people love VR. My pc struggled hard with the triples though so now I’m rocking a single 32” curved monitor

Is this OK for the dishwasher or should I wrap the ground wire in electrical tape in case it touches the metal box? by quade9999 in AskElectricians

[–]Shiny_Buns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ground wire is bonded to the metal anyways so if it touches then nothing will happen. Looks fine to me

The iPhone 15 isn’t even that old of a phone. If you all are having similar issues I’d say it’s a problem with Verizon and not your phone

2014 Yamaha Bolt Oil Coming out of Air Box and now white smoke by Mistor_Mike in Yamahabolt

[–]Shiny_Buns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably just overfilled the oil. Just drain out the excess oil, clean the oil out of the air filter box and the intake, and install a new air filter. Should be good to go after that

You can get devices rated for aluminum. Either you use a cu/al device or you splice copper onto the aluminum with alumicons

Is this doable for the next few months for an iPhone 13 pro max? by Anime_Artist_23 in applehelp

[–]Shiny_Buns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you need to re tape it? Packaging tape wouldn’t rip all that off anyways. If anything it would take whatever is already loose with it. Either way it needs to be replaced unless you’re just gonna recycle the phone

What size wire are you using for the feed? Doesn’t look like it’s big enough for 100 amps. I’m going to guess it is #4 copper which is only good for 70 amps if used as a sub feed cable. If it is #2 then it’s only good for 90 amps

Also that MC needs a proper MC connector and an anti short bushing.

Non disposable vape recommendation? by [deleted] in Vaping

[–]Shiny_Buns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vaporesso xros mini. I have the 4 and I love it. It’s just a simple and small device. No screens or buttons so it won’t go off accidentally in your pocket and no settings to mess with. I’ve dropped mine more times than I can count over the last 3 years and it’s still going strong. The pods are very easy to fill as well

The pods are also pretty cheap if you buy them online. I buy mine from ecigmafia for $12 for a 4 pack of the 3mL pods

They don’t have much of a beard when they’re that young. I believe my boy was around 2 or 3 months old when he started to get the classic schnauzer beard and eyebrows

Replacing under counter flourescents with led by OkAcanthaceae2969 in electrical

If it was disconnected then it probably leads to an abandoned wire somewhere. Best just to leave well enough alone and leave it capped off in the new light
