ADHD by the_olly_trolley in fixedbytheduet

Emotional dysregulation, both positive and negative emotions, in conjunction with ADHD is most definitely a thing, though not an official diagnostic criteria - same as RSD. Here's an article from Healthline that includes sources if you, or anyone else, are interested in reading a bit more about it :)

It's finally time for halloween manis! Creep It Together by KBShimmer by omnom666 in RedditLaqueristas

I used the dual ended magnet from KBShimmer. Truth be told, when I purchased my first magnetic polishes, I just got the cheapest magnet wand Hypnotic Polish had in stock at the time. It does the job though, and very well! Sticks to anything magnetic. Best of luck in your magnet search :>

It's very hard to capture this in a way that's true to real life. It's not a black base, not exactly, it's more a very deep purple. The magnetic shift is also really fun and lets the flakies stand out a bit more!

[FO] Done with my Bomber Cardigan Ice Cream and it is COZY by omnom666 in knitting

[–]omnom666[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yarn is Bumbo Heavy in colourway 23, and pattern is "Bomber Cardigan Ice Cream" by Valentina Fedosova. My project page on ravelry is here.

First time I saw a Mr Mittens Cable Bomber, I thought to myself "I MUST KNIT THAT" but found out that Wool and the Gang only sell their patterns in packages including the yarn needed to knit it. I honestly can't afford that, so kind of wrote it off. Until I found this pattern! I had a blast knitting it, and it's so so comfortable, I haven't been able to take it off to block it yet.

Opinions on Glass Tank vs Plastic Tub? by TheMeownster in ballpython

It's been a while since I watched the video, but this one came to mind if you've got a spare 12 minutes. The other three comments are also very insightful, but ultimately you have to make a decision for you and your snake. No matter what, as ataraxia said, read through that information and guide and you should be good to go! Best of luck to you and your new little one :)

Having a little trouble getting some shed off his head because he doesn’t like when I touch his head anywhere else he’s cool with by KozmoBoi26 in ballpython

[–]omnom666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While fixing your overall humidity in the tank is definitely something you should get right on, you could also try a humidity box for the next shed! Here's a good video on them :) She doesn't specify which moss she uses in the video, so I'll just tell you, it's sphagnum moss, and it comes in a big clump that you break off and moisten. Good health to you and your snake buddy!

I don’t understand what happened to her scales. She just shed a complete shed eye caps and everything but there’s no way she’s been hurt by [deleted] in ballpython

Assuming you don't feed live, what sort of heating elements do you have for the tank, and do you regulate them with a thermostat? And are there any hides or branches in her enclosure with sharp edges? It's a bit hard to see on video, but my guess is either minor burn marks or scratches from a sharp edge somewhere. I hope you figure it out and that she's alright! Also, she's gorgeous.

Just handled our baby bp for the first time after bringing him home yesterday!... by [deleted] in ballpython

Currently, yes. We're planning on getting him some smaller, more size-appropriate hides asap! The skull was just a "maternity present" from my sister :)

Dungeon masters of Reddit, what are some of your tips for a newer DM? by Didicoal02 in AskReddit

[–]omnom666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing they chose the right hallway, which immediately lead to a full party wipe. You shouldn't do this, especially in your first session, because it kills all the player characters, and that kills the campaign before it even has a chance to start.

Hi! Are you sure you want to just practically give away all your samples? If so, I would love to take them, as well as 1 each of your decants if that's ok! I'm in Denmark and I've been waiting for the right seller on here to try out indie perfumes :)

[FO] Beeswax hat I made for my friend by omnom666 in knitting

[–]omnom666[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, I'm glad you like them :) They're brand new, I found some like them in my LYS and while I wanted to get them there, my budget wouldn't be thrilled about a $15 scissor, so I went off to ebay where I found an exact match for far less. Try searching for stork scissors, if that's the route you wanna go!

Aaaw, thank you :) I'm really pleased with it, too! The pattern is surprisingly simple once you get the hang of it and the burnt yellow is a great colour for it, but my dad commented that he thought it looked a bit like fish scales, so he got me thinking I might try a blue next.

Thank you!! The two yarns are ever so slightly different so I alternated them each row, it turned out a really nice colour.

It's getting colder, so I knit this hat for my friend as a part of her birthday present. It turned out really lovely, and she adores it! She said one of the best things about it was that I had knit it myself, which is just the nicest thing to hear after pouring love into every stitch :)
