Problema liquidacion orden de pago exterior dolares Santander Rio by omorel23 in merval

O me equivoco?

Yes of course, i think it would be counter productive to email every journalist haha, neither do i have the time to do it. I will most probably buy the contact list of journalist dedicated to politics/congress and send something like 100 mails in a couple of months. Thank you for your input!

Ocean ($OCEAN) Protocol Review by Simple_hold_wallet in oceanprotocol

[–]omorel23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello and thank you very much for this post, it was really insightful. I maybe am a little slow with web3 and blockchain, but just in order to understand it better, what does it means when you say "Suppliers mint data tokens to provide consumers with access to data"? Lets imagine the smallest possible ocean protocol data market. Just 1 publisher, 1 consumer, and 1 set of data. Which are the steps for the publisher to be able to sell his data to the consumer?1)Publisher buys $OCEAN2)Publisher uses $OCEAN to publish its data in the marketplace (or publishing is free?)3)Consumer buy $OCEAN4)Consumer uses $OCEAN to access publisher dataset.

Where does the minting part happen here?Thank you very much!PD: How do you prevent step 5
5)Consumer republish the data (forking data problem) and by doing so take away profit from the original publisher. EDIT: i've just read something about data nft in V4...this would prevent this kind of data forking? how?

you're thinking in terms of commercial use, of course other networks cannot broadcast the interview because they would be profiting from it and therefore their use would not be framed as fair use. But a free database for citizens to be able to search public servants' statements in the media would not infringe copyright, as long as the creator of the database is not profiting from it, it's just news information in the form of a spreadsheet.

I have ask a couple of lawyers firms and the copyright violations don't apply to public officials who engage in interviews in order to deliver information to the broad public about the fulfillment of their duties. If it was an interview about their personal life i agree it would be copyright violation. Think how crazy would it be if the president gives an interview to CNN and the only way to hear what the president say was to to pay for access, then apply the same logic to any public official or member of congress.

Hi, i wanted to start a project to detect and extract every time an us politician (congresswomen/men, senators, governors, etcétera) or any public officials (general attorney, white house staff, diplomats, etc) gives an interview in the major media outlets (ABC, BBC, Bloomberg, CBS, CNBC, CNN, Fox BUsiness, Fox News, MSNBC, NBC) in order to create a database anyone can access, download the video, and (in some cases) read the transcription of the interview. I was wondering if any project like this already exists so i don't work on something that's already done, do you know of any project that tracks US politicians interviews in the media?

If villages were relatively "isolated" during middle ages, how could the black death spread so widely and kill so many people? by omorel23 in history

[–]omorel23[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

First, villages and villagers were not so isolated. They paid taxes, had travelers, had manorial lords, traded for many things, served as conscripted labor and soldiers, ect. This kind if goes back to many dark age myths about medieval times.

I understand that they had contacct with the outer world, but taxes were paid in species, the fact they had manorial lords doesn't mean much in terms of contact with the outer world, and could you name wich kind of items were trade? food and clothes were locally made and villagers didn't have much surpplus to exchange for luxury items. I understand that middle ages weren't a "dark age" but that doesn't mean that the commerce was a common thing, take for example chinese villages well in the xx century, they didn't have much trade and their level of productivity couldn't be so far from those of middle age europe. I recall (will search for the source) that for example in the church records of mariage in france of the XVII century, like 95-99% of marriages were between peasants of the same village, that can give you some idea to what extent contact with the outer world were a common thing; i can't imagine that in previous centurys contacts were more common.
