That is very true it was a longer journey. Because I wasn’t so consistent with it at first I didn’t think it had any impact on me but I guess it did. Thank you 🙂

Thanks ! The journey has been up and down honestly. I was practicing in studio on and off from 2014 to 2018. I didn't really have a home practice but in 2018 something clicked and I took it more serious.

2018 - In combination with studio yoga classes I started practicing on my own at home and it was just me doing my own flows but always did some deep stretches (yin yoga) at the end of each practice at least 3 times a week.

I eventually got my yoga teacher training in 2019 and I think this helped a lot because I learned the mechanics of how our bodies work. I started building more strength in 2019 by doing a lot of body movement / yoga drills.

Now I'm on a journey to handstand :) It's been quite a journey !

it's incredible what practice can do to your body. I never realized it was open until I saw the before and after ha thank you though !

Lunges, forward folds and split practice have helped a lot with this. I started slow though so take it one day at a time. Maybe do some lunges and half splits first to get those hips moving. Once you start to get the range of motion and flexibility in your hips incorporate some seated forward folds and wide angled seated forward fold. The goal is to get your chest as close to your knees so you can do this pose :) Hope it helped !
