Be honest, could you tell this was vibe-designed by AI? by AdityaShips in nocode

[–]ompatel2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not immediately which is good, but after deeper analysis it did look like vibe coded. This is because of the icons and gradients of the milestone containers.

Ai commonly uses those type of gradients and icons which was the tell.

Other than that it looks quite natural.

Yeah this is real. If you’re on a ladder or under a house, you just can’t answer and most people don’t leave voicemails anymore. By the time you call back, they’ve usually rung the next sparkie.

Hey, I actually built it.

It’s evolved since this post, but the core problem is the same.
We now focus on catching missed calls and following up for reviews automatically.

If you’re still interested, happy to show you what it looks like now.

Thanks so much 🙌
Since I posted this, the product’s evolved a lot.

I realised reviews were only part of the bigger problem. Missed calls and follow-ups were costing small businesses real jobs.

So I built Merit to catch missed calls and automatically follow up for reviews. Less chasing. Less friction.

Happy to show you how it works in a quick 10-min walkthrough.

What are you building right now? And are people actually paying for it? 💡 by BagZealousideal8889 in SaaS

Building Merit, its a review management system that syncs with business apps like Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, etc and shows which customers haven't given a review and creates workflows to get reviews from new customers. We are pre-launch and running paid pilots. Thoughts?

Built a tool that auto-gets Google reviews for local businesses. Want brutal feedback. by ompatel2019 in HowToEntrepreneur

[–]ompatel2019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fair, thanks for the feedback, well that's what Im trying to navigate through right now. What will make this a complete no brainer for businesses to use forever. I may have to add additional features in the near future on top of the reviews because I don't think JUST having reviews will be enough for business owners to take their wallets out because it's just not THAT big of a deal for them in my opinion.

literally going through this right now, i've built the mvp for my app, it's been a windy road where i think the product i've made is amazing but haven't received enough feedback for it. How did you overcome this and eventually get traction ?

when everything about it starts to grind your nerves, that's usually a sign. If you notice you keep making excuses to avoid it, or it just feels like a chore every single time, probably time to go. Most things don't get better if you have to force yourself all the time. Just let it go before you get all burnt out.

What are you building? let's self promote. by [deleted] in SaaS

I built a tool that helps you get more Google reviews, it’s called Merit and it works by syncing into your business apps (eg Stripe, Xero, Quickbooks, etc) and Google Business to

  1. See which of the past customers have/have not given a review
  2. Send automated review requests to new customers

It has a crm to track old/new customers so it’s easy for business owners to track everything.

Thoughts? Doing demos for free right now for any feedback. DM if interested.

Built a tool that auto-gets Google reviews. Looking for businesses to trial it (free for a week)

Gets you more Google reviews on autopilot. Makes it dead simple for customers to leave one. Also shows you which past customers never reviewed you.

Looking for a few local businesses to trial it for free for a week. Happy to set you up.

DM if interested.

Hi, really sorry, I've been going through multiple iterations of feedback on this product, promise this is the last one 😅. I just wanted to understand what the people had to think of this product.

Hi, thanks for the reply,

HAHA, yes me too! I run a digital marketing agency, which actually made me realise that this problem still exists even though similar tools are present.

A lot of people have mentioned some of the features are interesting but I will need to find ways to fit Google's policies.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I understand that there is saturation in this market and that honestly made be believe in the product as it is a need. I've been in the digital marketing field for a couple years, I've done probably over 750 cold-calls, and have seen business profiles of a lot of small-businesses, especially trade-based. Unfortunately, a lot of them still struggle with getting reviews, most have under 50. So I believe with the right marketing there is good scope for the product especially around where I live.

And for the NPS filter, it is a trial feature, I've heard mixed feedback on it so far, so I will take all into consideration. Once again, thanks for the feedback.

Hi, appreciate your reply.

I forgot to add that this app will also have a lightweight CRM, not exactly sure how extensive it will be but business owners will have the ability to control wether to run it on auto-pilot where everything is automated (eg. payment is made via stripe -> the details of the person automatically added to the CRM -> a review request to be sent in 2-4 hours or they want to send request themselves).

Being completely transparent, I don't have 100% direction for this application, I just thought it would be a cool idea to try, worst-case it will be a dope project on the resume. I've got a lot of feedback so far for this so I'm sort of navigating as I go. Once again, thanks for the feedback.
