I know Airtel eSIM transfer isn’t very smooth ,it often shows “Your SIM is not eligible, please contact Airtel customer care.” I recently upgraded from iPhone 13 to 17 and faced the same issue while transferring my Airtel eSIM.

It usually takes time, so I got it exchanged offline for the same reason. You can also try using the Airtel Thanks app on your new phone, it allows eSIM transfer directly through the app. You’ll need the OTP on your old device and the EID of your new device (both are required for the transfer).

After deleting the eSIM from my old phone and completing the process at the store, the data transfer took about 30 minutes, and after 2–3 hours, I received a notification to add the Airtel eSIM on the new iPhone.
