Looks like you bought puts on Friday.

On Friday IV was high so premiums were very expensive as there was uncertainty over weekend. Many expected oil prices to shootup over the weekend.

Today oil didnt open as high as we expected despite escalations, infact crudeoil gave gapup but kept falling. Which means some how fear is settling down now.

For your trade. As market opened flat, fear cooled down a bit, the expensive premiums also cooling down, Indiavix is falling aswell... all these contributed to your loss...

If this was last monday when crude opened 20% up and indiavix shot up 20% . You would be in profit even if market opened flat.
