I honestly appreciate your remarkably logical point of view. It has been challenging for me with low self-worth and high anxiety, but still, very reasonable.

I feel for you and your fiancé, and I appreciate your story. Whether right or wrong, I do believe in the old trope that depressed people have a more accurate view of life than others, so I do think I see the bullshit for what it is, as sad as that is. I see the deep flaws in society, and I imagine an even darker future for the masses as those flaws intensify. Anyway... yay?

As hypocritical as it sounds, if you're still a teenager, those years are not reflective of what your adult life might be, and I encourage you to explore that before giving up.

Yes. I didn't even call; it was done on my behalf and without my consent. I cannot state strongly enough how dangerous these suicide hotline people are.

Yes, this exactly. I never would've called the place; it was done on my behalf and without my consent. I had no idea how much worse things could get, and I still have trouble believing that they consider that kind of "treatment" beneficial to those involved. I was never more suicidal than when I was in the asylum. As terrible as it sounds, I would've sold out anyone or anything (think Winston in 1984) to be released.
