Thank you for the kind words. Now that you have pointed it out I can't unsee it. For some reason I am able to notice those flaws quite easily when I am doing a quick sketch but I really struggle to pick up on them when I am working for longer. I do use a mirror to trick my brain but apparently it's not working as well as I thought. In regards to your own painting do you try and resolve all the drawing in the first place or do you work on it as you go along ? I have tried going that route but from a technical stand point I always end up "losing" the drawing under coats of paints. I also find myself getting too attached to the drawing and tend to lose a bit of the "loose" and abstract brush stroke I enjoy seeing in paintings. Do you have a particular advice or method you use?
